How sweet it is to be loved by You!

imagesCAOFVGON Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.  Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.  For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves… (1Peter 3:4-5).

After the oil of Myrrh, the remaining treatment for Esther was 6 months of cosmetics and spices.   Our 5th tenet, the Beauty of holiness, represents the grace of God. The cosmetics and spices relate to His presence in us, bestowing a sweet attractiveness that is seen and felt. Favor will begin to follow you around. As I have put my attention to these guideposts, God’s mercy and favor continues to increase. For example, I am often addressed as ‘sweetheart’ and other endearing terms. I was not known as such prior to this path. Ask my family! This favor includes simple things like; surprise discounts while shopping or receiving free parking in a paid parking zone. Another interesting change- not a day goes by without someone complimenting my skin, the ‘glow’ that I have, yet  I have used the same moisturizer since forever! These are simple examples but what makes them interesting is they have come about without conscious effort. Especially the ‘sweet’ as I have a strong personality and sweet was not an adjective used to describe me in the past. Thank God for His mercy.

The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness (Jeremiah 31:3).

The favor of God is the Law of Attraction.
