Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38

Have you ever felt that you were missing out on the promises of God even though you consider yourself to be a “good person”? Christ Himself said, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone” Luke 18:19. I believe that Christ was expressing a very important truth; that all goodness comes from and through God, the Father. As His children, we have been given authority and dominion in this earth. However, nothing will come of what we have been given if we do not give ourselves. I know some of you are probably thinking, “Here goes the money scam, pleas for donation, etc…” Not at all! Remember, this is about you, about all of us living our fullest potential in Christ, as full citizens of the Kingdom of God. The tenets or beauty treatments being presented to you are guideposts to that end.

Giving is our 7th key. I call it a key because giving opens the doors to abundance. Everything in this earth began as a seed. A seed in mind, a seed of faith, a seed of hope…any deed, good or bad plants a seed. Our giving is most often represented by our actions, what we say, what we do when no one is looking and how we treat people. It seldom has anything to do with money or material objects. There is a scripture that has encouraged me for many years that speaks to the act of giving-
“A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great” Proverbs 18:16.
