I love this quote! Beauty Maven Estée Lauder makes an excellent point, in my opinion. We have to put in the work ladies! The objective of personal care is to create, prevent or maintain, depending on where you are in the life cycle.

I promised that I would follow up about DoTerra’s Yarrow and Pom Body Serum on the next Wellness & Beauty Wednesday and here we are!

The ingredients are fantastic! Sunflower oil, Jojoba oil and Pomegranate oil are the main carriers, to ensure optimal skin health. Jojoba and Sunflower oils are natural humectants, trapping moisture beneath the surface so there is a reservoir available to keep the skin hydrated.

Next, we have cold-pressed Pomegranate oil which is a very special feature as it does the heavy lifting of anti-aging, as in firming and toning the skin. It is also rich in Vitamin C and natural sunscreen, helping to reduce the appearance of dark spots.

What do I think of the body serum so far? I love it!

It has a rich consistency due to all the yummy fatty carrier oils. The best application is after bath or shower as it absorbs better- your skin will drink it up!

My skin feels softer and smoother. I tend to focus the application on my arms, tummy and thighs. I live in South Florida and one very important thing I have learned from the Senior ladies lounging at the pool is the skin in these areas need exorbitant amounts of skin care love and attention! Start early girls!

Although the Yarrow and Pom body serum is powerful for anti-aging, its ingredients also include the soothing properties of Vitamin E and Roman Chamomile essential oil.

However, the jewel of this moisturizing potion is Yarrow. Yarrow has been used in medicine since ancient times. The herb has been found in excavated sites in Iraq dated from early B.C.! It was used to heal wounds and relieve inflammation. Yarrow is also known to reduce wrinkles and to clear blemishes.
