Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philipians 4:8 KJV
The Fast has ended! What’s next?
O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
As we approach the celebration of the Thanksgiving Day in the United States, many are thinking about gratitude and being thankful in these times. It has been very trying for everyone in recent months and continues today, with all of the unrest going on around the world and very close to home; racial hatred, police shootings and terrorist attacks, etc., it is disheartening.
That is the point.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
We see these words from scripture played out every day on television and in the news media. Yet this is only a build up of things to come! We have yet to preach the gospel of the kingdom in all the world!
There is more to the Good News than salvation only.
Some say that Christianity is on its way out, that the hearts of the people are becoming dull to faith.
Don’t believe the hype!
The darkness is meant to wear you down, get you to cave in…Not a chance!
Praise is the answer! Shout that darkness out of your home! Keep a song of praise in your heart! Darkness will come, “but it will not come nigh you”!
Why not? The Light is in your heart! Your mind is filled with the joy of The Lord and all He has done and continues to do for you! Your light reaches others and they are changed. This is why you must stay filled with praise! We impact our world by being Whose we are, acting on that truth and the power of that will change the world!
And THEN the end will come….
The Walk of the Bride in the Kingdom of God is continuously unfolding. It is as if each step taken opens to more and more of Him; that is Christ in you, the Hope of Glory.
These tenets or beauty treatments were inspired from studying the Book of Esther in the Holy Bible. The tenets are:
Prayer, Praise, Purity, Practicing the Presence of God, Beauty of Holiness
Mind of Christ, Humility, Giving, Trust, Consistency
In earlier posts, the tenets were described individually, to be walked out in our daily lives. As I have often said, I am walking it out as I go, along with you, Precious Reader! I believe The Lord has inspired this “Walk” to help us to grow in intimacy with Him so that we might increase in every area of our lives! This is His desire for all of His children but I perceive this specific inspiration is particularly for His daughters. The tenet concepts are for all, but the “feel” is female.
What about Beauty inside Out?
This theme is perhaps the foundation of what we are experiencing in this walk. Beauty is in Christ. It is to be complete in Him. Beauty inside; more of Him = Beauty inside and out!
“But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted”! John 15:7 NLT
First, I would like to thank you for visiting. My writing is pointless without readers to receive the message.
The Walk of the Bride in the Kingdom of God consists of 10 tenets: Prayer, Praise, Purity , Practicing the Presence of God, the Beauty of Holiness, Humility, Giving, Singleness of Mind/the Mind of Christ, Consistency and Trust. We have briefly explored each Beauty treatment and I sincerely hope you have been experiencing the many benefits. Clearly these are spiritual exercises that require action, allowing us to observe our experience from the inside out. Hmmm, am I really mixing Christianity with Quantum Physics? Yes! We have previously explored the nature of the brain during prayer and it was enlightening from a scientific point of view. Now let us consider the nature of the observer and the world around us.
In Quantum Physics, things act or react based on whether or not they are being looked at or focused on.
It is attention or intention that produces results.
I am not a physicist. Nonetheless, I believe this perspective helps us understand Christ consciousness. The Bridegroom who will come for the Bride without spot or wrinkle (Eph. 5:27) is WONDERFUL and GLORIOUS. Moreover, the Bride accepting and receiving the Bridegroom is in itself Christ consciousness. This is the ultimate reality. It is the engine behind “ Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father”(John 14:12).
The Apostle Paul says, “for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).
The spiritual is above and beyond the natural flesh and blood world. We do not want to miss this reality as we walk as the Bride. It is the Spirit that gives life; to our hopes, our dreams, in the here and now. Too deep? Maybe, but look at it again. What do you see?
Faith is believing what we do not see and the reward for this kind of faith is to see what we believe
What does it mean to “Walk as the Bride in the Kingdom of God”? It is a mindset, a pathway to the higher things in Christ. It is a journey of discovery, of growing in intimacy with God, through Christ in you!
The beauty treatments we have covered up to this point are:
Practice the Presence of God
Beauty of Holiness
The Mind of Christ
The order is relative to the individual as these tenets are practiced continuously. Some steps may need more attention than others, it depends. The Holy Spirit knows and (s)he will guide you.
I cannot make definitive statements as to outcomes because I think it is according to the will of God for each individual that practices this path. This entire process, including the title “Walking as the Bride in the Kingdom of God” was given to me in dreams, inspirations from spiritual teachers and wisdom gained from age old writings of Hebrew and Christian thought that I have been introduced to over the past 20 years. I am a messenger. My directive? “Walk as the Bride in the Kingdom of God and write about it”.
Our 9th guidepost is Consistency.
* “One day as I was sitting at my typewriter typing notes and listening to tapes typing notes and listening to tapes, I read Mark 11:23.
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”.
Suddenly, the truth of that last phrase just jumped out at me. And the Lord spoke to my heart and said, In consistency lies the power. He was telling me it’s not just the words you speak when you pray that change things, it’s the words you speak all the time”!

In the practice of the presence of God, we are placing ourselves in the arms of the Spirit, being in union throughout the day with the One who loves us. How can this be? Prayer is the 1st step in our preparation to walk as the Bride in the Kingdom of God. In the story of Esther, when the time had come for Esther to be presented to the King, it is said that she asked for nothing other than what Hegai, the King’s chamberlain had suggested. She was found favorable by all who looked upon her (Esther 2:15). Prayer is not an isolated activity or something to be done in seclusion. In the practice of the presence of God, we are in a constant state of prayer. We are communicating spirit to Spirit, giving thanks to God during every waking moment. We are praising the Lord for the magnificent and the mundane; for the dream job opportunity to giving thanks for hot water in the shower this morning! Our hearts are purified daily as we allow the “living waters’ to flow. This is Beauty from the inside out.
Brother Lawrence stated, “I make it my business only to persevere in His holy presence, where I keep myself by a simple attention, and a general fond regard to GOD, which I may call an actual presence of GOD; or, to speak better, an habitual, silent, and secret conversation of the soul with GOD, which often causes in me joys and raptures inwardly, and sometimes also outwardly, so great that I am forced to use means to moderate them, and prevent their appearance to others”.
Oh, to have the Presence of the Lord so available that we must maintain our composure because of the joy found in Him!
Let us look at the 2nd guidepost on our path to increase: Praise.
The very word speaks of the connection to our 1st tenet, prayer. Praise is a p(rayer) raise(d) high in song, dance, or simply a word of thanksgiving unto God. How often do we set time aside in our day to be thankful? While driving your car or riding the bus or subway to work or school, are you giving thanks? Maybe, maybe not. On the other hand, how many times in a day do you worry? Worry about arriving on time for work or class? Worry about having enough money for weekly expenses? Worry about you or your loved one’s health? The list goes on and on. It seems there is always time available to worry about something. According to WebMD; excessive worry leads to:
• Digestive disorders
• Muscle tension
• Short-term memory loss
• Premature coronary artery disease
• Heart attack
Praise is the flu shot for the worry sickness! In the previous post, we have seen how prayer changes the function of our brains and increases our focus. Imagine that dynamic multiplied in praise! Praise takes us higher. It elevates your spirit, the You of you. Take a moment right now and give thanks to God for being alive, for your ability to breathe air, to feel the sun on your face. Think about the smile of your child or someone that you love. Thank God for them! This is what praise is all about. For those few moments of thanksgiving, your heart shifted to a higher place, above your present circumstances. Imagine stretching those moments to several times a day. How different do you think your life would be if you lived with a song in your heart? Praise can be a secret melody in your heart to The Lord. A song only you know, because only you know how The Lord has helped you in time of need.
